nyMusikk revisits MUNCH with an eclectic experimental sound festival
Brand new compositions, extraordinary sounds and mind-expanding music: Only Connect - the international contemporary music festival - makes a long awaited comeback at MUNCH.
Ticket options include single tickets, festival passes and evening passes.
In the space of a single festival, you can experience new music for escalators, Arabic avant-garde sounds, a cod-related shipboard installation, melting music, an electroacoustic sound walk, improvised noise, and a paperclip symphony.
nyMusikk brought adventurous sounds to the original Munch Museum at Tøyen as early as the 1960s. So it’s a huge pleasure to welcome their Only Connect festival into the new MUNCH.
The festival also includes events outside the museum, at several locations around Bjørvika.
Only Connect Festival of Sound is nyMusikk's annual festival for experimental music, contemporary music and sound art.
The festival is supported by Arts Council Norway, the City of Oslo, Norwegian Society of Composers, Musikkfondene and Music Norway.
