How do we adress diversity and inclusion in cultural institutions? Who are invited in, whose voices are heard? And how can museum spaces become more accessible and relevant?

This video series presents artists and educators from the SOLO OSLO programme, a series of exhibitions at MUNCH developing the local art scene by giving newly established artists and educators an opportunity to develop their practice. Diversity in terms of approach, identity and medium of expression is at the core when selecting the talent.

This series is part of MUNCH's commitment to contemporary art, presented with support from Talent Norway and Canica. Our video series received a Webby Honor for Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in 2023.

The project is supported by Talent Norge & Canica

Talent Norge  is an initiative aiming at helping young talents and artist advance further within their field, founded by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, Cultiva and the Norwegian Ministry of Culture
