We are pleased to invite MUNCH members to a preview of the exhibition Edvard Munch Horizons.
Explore the significant currents in the art of Edvard Munch's time - and experience Munch together with European and Norwegian artists - before everyone else at a preview for members.
The exhibition takes you on a journey through European art from approx. 1880 to 1950, and shows how Edvard Munch fit into this development. You get the chance to see how artists pushed the boundaries of their own creativity in completely new ways. From bursting color palettes that tear you out of the ordinary, to simpler shapes and expressions that explore the unknown - it's an explosion of innovation and creativity. The painters also played with alternative materials and treated the canvas as a canvas for the decorative. It's an exhibition you don't want to miss!
Opening Ceremony!
We are pleased to invite MUNCH members to the opening ceremony of the exhibition Edvard Munch Horizons. Limited number of places, so be quick.
Program for the evening:
19:00: Doors open in Festsal
19:30: Official opening with speeches
20:00: The exhibition opens
20:00: Bar and mingling in the MUNCH café on the 1st floor with a DJ
23:00: Bar and exhibition halls close
