MUNCH + Literature: Woman by the Veranda Stairs

MUNCH has invited Nora Mehsen to write a story inspired by Edvard Munch's painting Woman by the Veranda Steps, which is included in our exhibition Yonder - Edvard Munch and Nature. It was painted in 1942, when Munch was 78 years old, and has rarely been shown to the public.

Nora Mehsen is a criminologist, author and public debater. She is concerned with issues related to gender equality, inclusion and diversity.
