Ultima is the largest contemporary music festival in the Nordic region and has been taking place in Oslo since 1991. The festival aims to promote artistic diversity, reflect new trends and innovations, and to give as many people as possible access to high quality new music.
MUNCH is one of the foundation’s members, together with 17 other professional cultural institutions and organisations.
The festival is supported by the Arts Council Norway and Oslo City Council.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon is the patron of Ultima.
