The moonlight

The moonlight glides across your face
which contains all the beauty
and pain of this earthly kingdom
Your lips are like two ruby red worms
and as blood-filled as that carmine-red fruit
They glide apart as if in pain
A kind of smile
The chain that binds generation
to generation is now tied
Like a body we slip
out upon a great ocean
born upon long waves which
change colour from deep violet to blood red
