About the exhibitions

Mouth to Mouth is a solo exhibition with the French superstar Camille Henrot, who was awarded the Edvard Munch Art Award in 2015. Her exhibition consists of paintings, watercolors and a new giant bronze sculpture, made especially for MUNCH. The exhibition opened on 16 September, and is located on the 9th floor.

The SOLO OSLO series was launched in January with Sandra Mujinga, and the next exciting young artist out is Apichaya (Piya) Wanthiang. She gets to frolic with a brand new installation created especially for the distinctive exhibition hall on the museum's 10th floor. Official opening 1 October.

In our biggest new venture into Contemporary Art, The Machine Is Us, 25 Norwegian-based and international artists examine the relationship between art and new technologies, and the exhibition offers a number of completely new projects created especially for this exhibition. The exhibitoin extends beyond the exhibition halls on the 3rd floor with works outside the museum, in the lobby and online. Official opening 1 October.
