Electric guitarist and composer Hedvig Mollestad serves up an exclusive preview in MUNCH’s Festsal. Be among the first to hear her new project Weejuns, performed by a trio consisting of Ståle Storløkken, Ole Mofjell, and Mollestad herself.

Hedvig Mollestad is one of Norway’s most renowned guitarists. She is one of the few artists whose music works at both Oslo Jazzfestival and the hard rock festival Tons of Rock. She is best known for her work with the powerful Hedvig Mollestad Trio. Her other projects include the larger ensemble Ekhidna; her latest release Tempest Revisited, Maternity Beat with Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, and the piece 21:12.

Keyboard player and Buddy Prize winner Ståle Storløkken has had a long and inspirational career and is particularly acclaimed for his contributions to Elephant9 and Supersilent. Ole Mofjell has distinguished himself as a drummer and percussionist on the European improvisation scene.
